Calgary answered with two power-play goals in the second period from Porter Rhynold and Griffin Laursen to pull even, but Spartan responded with goals from Sam Potvin and Olaf Tomiuk to restore control and take a 4-2 lead into the third. The Crusaders kept fighting, with Parker Terlesky scoring twice in the final frame, but Spartan matched the pressure with goals from Briggs Baraniuk and Collin Hendricks, including an empty-netter to seal the championship.
Spartan got balanced offense from Flynn-Belanger, Potvin, Backs, and Hendricks, while Krueger, Tomiuk, and Baraniuk also delivered key goals in the win
